Christchurch Tyres - Team Protyre, joined the UK's fastest-growing supplier and fitter of tyres and automotive services, Protyre, in 2019. Previously, Christchurch Tyres was a family-run business managed by Ross Taylor, an employee who jumped at the chance to buy the business when it became available over thirty years ago. Under his management style of competitive pricing combined with excellent service, the business grew and Christchurch Tyres Ltd soon became a local landmark due to its location on the Railway Bridge in Bargates.

In 2008 Ross and partner Becky had outgrown Bargates and moved Christchurch Tyres Ltd to larger premises off Somerford Road and they have not looked back since. Customers from Bargates followed Christchurch Tyres Ltd to the new location, adding to the new catchment area driving the business forward even faster. With modern facilities, well-equipped premises and a large customer car park, the business continued to grow from six staff to over 20 with everyone sharing Ross and Becky's vision of providing a friendly local service to all customers.

Today, the garage is still providing the same friendly local service to all its customers but under the Protyre umbrella, with the very apt tagline of: 'The local garage you can trust'
